HIC represents Europe’s largest International Commodity Trading Company. Our client was incorporated in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1990 by several Belgrade based entrepreneurs. During the first decade the Company’s business activities were mostly based on commodities trading and the Company gradually has moved to the processing operations. In addition to the copper and grain industries, the Company has been active in the energy sector, with ventures in the oil and coal industries, as well as in textiles, timber, ferrous and non-ferrous metals industries. By the end of 1999 the Company had 20 representative offices in 16 countries and over 360 million USD in revenues.
